How Do They Work?

To put it simply, automatic lubrication systems work by dispensing small amounts of lubricant from a reservoir at regular intervals. This helps to minimise ongoing maintenance costs and unnecessary downtime, saving you valuable time, money, and effort. These systems can be powered either electrically, hydraulically, or pneumatically and controlled by a brake counter or timer.

What Are the Benefits of Automatic Lubrication Systems?

Investing in automatic lubrication systems can benefit manufacturing businesses of any size. We’re sure it’ll come as no surprise to you that with all types of machinery, if they have moving parts, they’ll often encounter failures. This is primarily due to incorrect lubrication, leading to potential downtime and increased expenses. By implementing automatic lubrication equipment, you can significantly reduce these issues, saving you from costly repairs and ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing processes.

While the initial setup cost may be higher compared to manual approaches, the long-term cost-effectiveness is undeniable. To name a few advantages, you’ll benefit from reduced machinery downtime, savings on lubrication costs (believe it or not!), a safer environment for your employees, and decreased expenses on spare parts and labour, including maintenance.
